Professional Craft Master and all-around artist Amber Smoke was born in Buffalo, NY, and raised in Houston, TX! Amber Smoke currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia, avidly working hard on her new project, NAKED. Amber can sing, rap, dance, write, edit, produce, choreograph, style herself and build websites. She started when she was 8 years old, performing a self-written song for her family. One of her goals is to “be known for being the best in the next 5 years and the most hardworking.”
Amber’s first solo project, She Ain’t Me, helped her find her identity. It was the first project she took on by herself, and she explored all types of genres. Currently , Smoke is at work on her newest project, NAKED, which will be a free album for her fans.
“The further I get in music the more I can appreciate what others have accomplished to get to that point of stardom. It’s extremely difficult to do this, and I admire anyone who has tried to make it.”
One thing the artist takes pride in is giving back to her community, She participates in feeding the homeless, rescuing pets, and mentoring young girls. “Helping in the community makes me feel extremely grateful and happy.”
Amber loves to watch movies and cook, referring to herself as a “big foodie.” Amber is not particular in the music she listens to , she enjoys many genres, including but not limited to Rap, Hip Hop, Country, R&B, and Rock, saying, “You name it, I love a song from it.” She pays homage to Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Aaliyah, Tupac, Biggie, Missy Elliott, Nicki Minaj and Lauryn Hill, but leaves a special place in her heart for fellow Houstonian Beyonce.
Amber plans to work hard and constantly progress with her music. “I want to change music forever,” says Amber,“Only a few entertainers have reached that status, but that’s where I’m trying to go…what I’m trying to do…my vision.”
