Jono Jono – The Life EP

Blazing the R&B scene with thrash metal solos, poetic lyrics and smooth vocals. American singer/song-writer/guitarist/producer JonoJono (birthname: Jonathan Harris) was Born in Coral Springs, FL on Feb. 11, 1993. At 13, he got his 1st Fender Strat and immediately started practicing every day while training his vocal abilities in church and at school. Experimenting with the fusion of soulful melodies and aggressive vocals, he fine-tuned the seamless integration of distortion and volume associated with hard rock with the melismatic and synthesizer-heavy sounds associated with R&B. By the year 2017, JonoJono debuted with “Life (feat. Neisha)” on June 6th which combines the essence of R&B/Soul and Hard Rock accented with an intense 80’s thrash inspired guitar solo .

In earlier years, he was generally producing live instrumentals on his pastime using Garageband iOS and he soon produced and released “Contradictions (Interlude)” (formally known as “A New Legacy”) which hybridizes the art of poetry/spoken word, electronic, neo-soul and rock guitar. Upon release of “Contradictions”, his debut visual, on YouTube and other social sharing platforms, his social presence had been cemented by the swift, growing buzz the project had garnered. As a result, he generated peak interest from local venues and inaugurated his career with live performances at notable venues in the Houston area, creating an eager fan base for his anomalous sound. Within the same year of his debut, he has performed alongside with renowned R&B/Soul vocalist Keke Wyatt and shared the stage with charting R&B artists such as, Dondria Nicole and others.

Presently, JonoJono has his debut EP album called “The Life EP” available, which he released on Sept. 22, 2017. The project instantaneously created a diverse fan group that exists on a broad listening spectrum throughout the country. The 5-track album showcases JonoJono’s love for genre bending, highlights his capability to innovate and introduces his game-changing new, fresh and organic sound. With an eye on the horizon, JonoJono strives to blaze his own trail in music, create lanes for musical renegades and inspire fellow musicians, listeners and fans alike.

Jen Miller – “Fine” ft Eros

About the song:

“I wrote the record at my parents home and I remember sending it to Jake that evening. It was just a demo and that was nearly a year ago. Once we got Harold’s verse, it felt so right! I knew we needed to get a group of our friends together to shoot a video,” said Jen Miller. “I had never produced a video but the one thing I knew was that I wanted a female director.”

About the Video:
The “Fine” music video was directed by Megan St. John, the founder of Third Wheel Entertainment, a Chicago-based production company specializing in narrative video work. While currently based in Chicago, the company is excited to be expanding to Los Angeles, C.A. in early 2018. Megan’s most recent films (Broiled, 2015 and Strongroom, 2016) are currently in the festival circuit and have each garnered various awards. Tom Kinstle, director of photography at Third Wheel Entertainment, joined for the project, with an already impressive music video portfolio, including artists like Breaking Benjamin, Nickelback, Skillet, Bad Suns, and more.

Quality & Appearance

Michael Adam’s Jr., musically named Quality & Appearance, grew up in North Houston in a community called Acres Homes (Heather Glen). Growing up, he was raised by both his parents with very strict guidelines as a youth. His father was very particular about how things were done. There was no room for slacking ,sleeping in late or half doing things. Soon he learned if he didn’t do what they asked of him the right way, he would have to go and redo it all over again because the quality of the the job was poorly executed. He didn’t grow up rich, but his father made sure he had exactly what he needed. All clothes had to be ironed and all shirts tucked in nothing outside of the pants. No sagging pants and a belt had to be worn at all times. He wanted their appearance to always be at its best no matter where he went. This was because you never knew who you may run into while you are out. So that’s what Quality & Appearance symbolizes.
Hip hop was introduced to Quality at an early age. He has been writing rhymes since 14, but only got serious when he turned 23. Its just something he fell in love with and never gave up on. “Its just something about being on stage,” says Quality.
Formerly of Connect City, which consisted of a slew of exceptional talent like Dona, Grizz, Navalie, B, Mittenz, Slim, Ant, and J. He says those are still his brothers, but musically, he had to branch off and get #ONMYQSHXX4EVA. Dona stills records his vocals and occasionally he receives tracks from Grizz and hopes to bang out a project soon!
Quality was determined to go back to school and get his degree, and this was something he had to do for himself. “It wasn’t an easy task with all the late nights that came with being an artist, but I was resilient and finished,” says Quality. He received his degree in Business Specializing in Finance.
With 2017 closing, its only right to release his long awaited  EP “FDV” (FROM A DIFFERENT VIEW)  featuring his latest single “Steppin” its available on all digital platforms such as iTunes, Tidal, and Spotify, just to name a few.
